Is this course for me

Introduction to the National Careers Service - Information Session - delivered Online. This session is open to all. Meet a National Careers Service Adviser in our live webinar. The session is delivered with a live qualified National Careers Service Adviser who will advise you of the support the National Careers Service can offer you during and after your course. This support is FREE and includes careers advice and research , cv writing, job searching, interview skills and training and anything you might need to move on in work and life. Please join the session to find out more.

What will I need for my course

You can access the class from your computer equipped with a camera and a microphone, from a laptop (where the camera and microphone should be built-in), a tablet or a smartphone. Before the class starts, you will have an email sent to you including the Microsoft Teams invitation to join the sessiion, which will be a simple weblink to click. The system is free and easy to use. Should you have questions about the required equipment, please do not hesitate to contact us by telephone or by email. Instructions are also available on our website www.kentadulteducation.co.uk.

For your safety we require you to have your camera switched on during on line courses.

What can I do next

During your session, your advisor will offer guidance in personal progression routes. Contact the National Careers Service for any relevant support you need – a free service - National Careers Service call 0800 100 900 Kent Adult education Courses are designed to progress students to higher levels and can support application to "Access to Degree Foundation courses" leading to Higher Education opportunities. The Kent Adult Education website offers many courses for students wishing to develop a career path or commencing a self-employed business. Please speak with the Customer Relations Teams if you have an interest in self-employment or an interest in developing career options. During your course your tutor will offer guidance in relation to your personal progression route. Courses are designed to progress you to further study or into employment. In addition some of our courses support access to Further and Higher Education opportunities. KAE web site has information about these courses and developing your own business.
