Who can join this course

This is one of our Tailored learning Level 1 Beginners Plus courses. This course is for learners who have not studied with us previously in Languages at Level 2 or above. It is also for learners who have completed their total of 120 guided learning hours at Entry level (First Steps / Further Steps) in Languages and wish to progress to the next level.
Eligible learners may enrol onto Language courses at Level 1 up to a maximum of 120 guided learning hours in total.
If you have already reached the maximum guided learning hours in level 1 Languages, please speak to your tutor or another member of our team about your next progression steps.

This course is for students who have attended Beginners courses or have a basic knowledge of greeting, introduction and vocabulary to order and pay for food and drink. This course is for students who have attended otehr Beginners courses and are able to greet, introduce themselves and others.
This course will expand the topics cover in the beginners courses helping you to enlage and improve the command of the language at basic level for different situations.

Course aims

By the end of the course you should be able to:

* Describe the world around you
* Make arrangements
* Use present and past tenses
* Structure oral or written sentences in given contexts

You will also be asked to think of Personal Aims to individualise your learning experience, as well as another benefits the course may have.
