This course will be delivered live online using Zoom.

This Meditation and Mindfulness course is suitable for anyone who is interested in exploring a Mindful approach in everyday life and the practice of meditation. This course focuses on Low Intensity Mindfulness Practice. The potential benefits of Mindfulness and Meditation for overthinking and being overwhelmed will be explained. After discussing the principles of Mindfulness and Meditation, you will be introduced to simple guided and unguided meditations and observed taking part in mindful activities based on sensory awareness. All participants will be expected to provide feedback during each lesson and encouraged to continue their practise outside the classroom.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

Identify a range of mindfulness activities.
Identify ways in which mindfulness and meditation may be helpful for you.
Describe some key underlying principles of mindfulness and meditation.
Identify how to take this work forward if you want to.
