Who can join this course

This course will provide an overview of the major functions of a presentation package including an effective way to combine text, data and images to create an engaging slideshow. Shortcuts, hints and tips will be shared.

Is this course for me

This course is for those who have some computer literacy and who wish to learn more about PowerPoint 2016, Microsoft's® slide presentation package. It will help if you know the basics of the program.

Course aims

By the end of the course you should be able to:

* Develop a presentation using a range of slide templates
* Combine text, data and images to design effective slides
* Use a range of formatting tools to create a definite style for the presentation
* Review, test and edit the presentation

What will I need for my course

A notepad and pen. Please bring a USB memory stick with you, if you wish to take away any of your data. * Please note: If you are storing any data/images on transferrable data devices (memory sticks, portable hard drives, etc.) please make sure that you have back-up files saved elsewhere and when removing devices have followed the 'safely removing hardware' guidelines on the PC. Kent Adult Education is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal equipment or corruption to your files whilst you are in Kent Adult Education centres and/or undertaking Kent Adult Education courses.
