Is this course for me

A volunteer passport is a programme of training and support that helps volunteers, or those thinking of volunteering for the first time, develop knowledge and skills to help in volunteering roles and to move more easily between volunteering placements. There are benefits to taking part in this training:
1) Taking part in the training will give you a good understanding of what is involved in volunteering so you can volunteer with confidence.
2) If you are looking to volunteer as a stepping stone towards finding a job, it will give you the skills and knowledge which are valued by employers.
3) You will have the chance to meet online with like-minded people, share experiences and get support from each other.
4) You will be able to access support to find a volunteer role that suits you.

The scheme will run over 5 weeks:

Week 1 - Introduction to Volunteering - what you need to know with Kent Coast Volunteering
Week 2 - Introduction to Safeguarding Adults and Children
Week 3 - Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Week 4 - Introduction to Customer Service (Part 1)
Week 5 - Introduction to Customer Service (Part 2)
