Is this course for me
This one day experience is perfect for complete beginners and those with any experience, this one day experience is a fun and supportive environment in which to be inspired, learn and create your own beautiful and personal glass work. In this busy one-day course, you will make and take home an A4 sized traditional leaded glass panel.
First you will practice and become comfortable handling and cutting glass. You’ll then select a design to make and choose a variety of coloured and textured glass. After cutting it all to shape you will shape and work the lead, assembling the panel as you go. Learn to solder the different parts together and weather seal the glass and lead together to complete it.
This day course takes place at the tutor’s business studio at St. Nicholas at Wade (CT7 0NE) where you can see a variety of commercial projects underway. There is ample free parking directly outside and room indoors to maintain social distancing. We have a fridge and microwave.
