Is this course for me

This is a Level 3 qualification equating to ‘A’ level standard and so assignments and, therefore, coursework will require this level of competence. You should be able to follow spoken and written instructions, read handouts/exercises and take part in group discussions.

E-portfolios will be used on this course. An e-portfolio is an easy to use electronic format for students to record their work, achievement and goals. All work can be attached or uploaded very simply to the e-portfolio including handwritten work and other documents. It gives students the opportunity to use and learn ICT skills as well as making work instantly available for assessment. We will be providing training on how to use the e-portfolio which will include how to upload a document. Tutors will give feedback on homework assignments as well as classroom activities; there will also be tutorials. The assessment of this course includes observations of your working practice within the school following which feedback will be given.
