Is this course for me

Throughout this short course, you will explore the different learning styles of adults and how to effectively cater to them in a teaching setting. You will also learn about various teaching methods and strategies that can help engage and motivate adult students.

One of the key components of the course is learning how to effectively plan for adult learning experiences. This includes understanding the importance of setting clear objectives, creating engaging lesson plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of your teaching methods.

You will be taught by a qualified tutor. Teaching methods will include demonstration, explanation, discussion and times for question and answer sessions.

Course aims

By the end of the course you should be able to:

* List the principles of adult learning and how they differ from teaching children
* Develop effective communication and facilitation skills to engage and motivate adult learners
* Explore various instructional strategies and techniques suitable for teaching adults with different learning styles
* Create and deliver engaging lesson plans and presentations tailored to adult learners' needs and interests
