Meet our tutors - Massimo Mozzati

Meet Massimo, one of our Italian language tutors. Massimo has worked in education in the UK since 1997 after achieving his Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Bolton. Massimo has a background in arts and architecture and has taught these, as well as Italian throughout his career.

KAE: Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

Massimo: I love the work of some of the great architects and artists of the Italian Renaissance, my favourite being Michelangelo.

KAE: Why do you enjoy teaching?

Massimo: I have been teaching Italian with Kent Adult Education since 2015 and enjoyed meeting so many lovely students who are interested in learning my mother tongue language for different reasons, but mostly because of some connections with Italy.

KAE: What is your approach to teaching?

Massimo: I like to provide a teaching environment with clear instruction and roles, but I also want my classes to be relaxed, fun and an opportunity for all participants to express themselves at their best.
