Black History Month 2023

October is Black History Month and this year we are celebrating the theme of 'Saluting our Sisters'.

The theme highlights the crucial role that Black women have played in shaping history, inspiring change and building communities. This year's celebration will showcase pioneering Black women who have made remarkable contributions.

We'll be updating this page throughout October with more information about how Kent Adult Education are celebrating and supporting Black History Month 2023.

Celebrate Black History Month with a series of FREE classes and workshops taking place at The Woodville, Woodville Place, Gravesend DA12 1DD on Saturday 21st October 2023.

11am - 12pm Zumba Fitness

11am - 3pm  World Craft Workshops

12pm - 1.30pm Afro Hair Care

12.30pm - 1.30pm Bhangra Dance

2pm - 2.45pm Kukuwa African Dance Fitness
