The course will go through various Ballroom and Latin Dances working on technique and timing as well as building confidence.
You will learn:
1) basic leads and follows in one Ballroom and one Latin dance
2) The leads into at least 3 new steps in each dance.
3) Timing of basic and steps
4) Basic floor craft
5) Technique in basic and additional steps.

How will I be taught?
Teaching will consist of individual, group and partner work with individual needs and requirement being met by the tutor.
One to one guidance, self-assessment.
What do I need to bring with me?
We advise students not to purchase equipment. Students must not wear stiletto shoes as it can damage the floor and should avoid slip on shoes or flip flops. Bringing a bottle of water is also useful when exercising.
What can I do next?
Your tutor will advise you on the appropriate follow-up course. Enrol early as places cannot be guaranteed.Students after completing this course can progress onto the Advanced class
What do I need to join the course
All are welcome.
This course is for absolute beginners and those with little experience of dance.
