If you have ever wanted to learn about stitching to embellish an object or item with summer ideas and colours, then this is the course for you. The tutor will take you through how to create at least 8 essential traditional stitches to create 3D flowers and leaves, you can then use these to create a colour and stitching palette that you can use at home. You will learn how stitches can create shapes and texture for your creative summer ideas.

How will I be taught?
The tutor will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques.
What do I need to bring with me?
A length of cotton fabric, relevant coloured threads, embroidery needles, a pair of scissors and a sketchbook and ideas or drawings that you would like to use for your embroidery.
What can I do next?
During your course, your tutor will offer guidance in your personal progression route.
What do I need to join the course
All levels of skill are welcome, especially if you have never embroidered freehand before. It is a practical course so a good degree of manual dexterity is required.
