On this practical course you will be introduced to techniques of fiction writing and autobiography and will explore the links between the two forms of writing. Most of your written work will be done at home and shared with the group in a constructive way.
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- Respond to and assess pieces of writing with sensitivity
- Demonstrate an understanding of what you may expect from creative writing classes
- Produce several short pieces of creative writing and one extended one
- Use your critical awareness.

Your tutor will create a supportive environment that encourages students to evaluate their own work and to give constructive criticism of other's work.
