This is a course to help you improve your English and/or maths. Everyday English and maths courses
can be joined at any time of the year although classes start in September. Course levels start at Entry
Level 1.
Our Everyday English and Maths courses are designed for learners who need to cover the basics in
English and maths. This will include those who have a mild to moderate learning disability and/or
difficulty. They are also suitable for adults with mental health difficulties or those who feel they need
extra support to learn. Courses are run across Kent in a town near you. If additional support is needed,
each class will have a teaching assistant as well as the tutor.
The provision is designed to enable all learners to have access to learning that is individualised,
challenging, and meets their needs. Learners will be given the opportunity to progress to higher levels
and take qualifications if appropriate.
Further information regarding the course specification can be in obtained from your tutor once you have
been placed into a class.
Please note: this course will require an initial assessment and regular attendance.
