Portuguese Beginners Plus - Basic Conversation Practice

Do you want to be able to speak Portuguese at basic level when you visit Portugal or Brazil?
This sort Portuguese course in a live, online classroom will allow you to practise your Portuguese and improve your confidence in speaking. You will be able to use your conversational skills on basic topics in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
You will benefit from exchanging with a supportive tutor and others as you practise speaking and enjoy learning the language.

By the end of the course successful students should be able to:
- Converse about basic topics such as personal information, shopping, asking for directions
- Talk about preferences and express likes and dislikes
- Develop vocabulary, fluency and confidence in speaking


Basic Portuguese grammar will be taught and students will also gain an insight into the culture.
You will be given small amounts of homework each week (max 1hr) to reinforce classroom learning.
