Who is the tutor?
About the Tutor: Partnership Tutor
How will I be taught?
Craft courses provide an opportunity for students with some experience, to further learn and practise the skills of a specific craft. Students will also be encouraged to develop a dialogue with the contemporary and historical context of the craft, and will be encouraged to keep a sketchbook/notebook to record ideas, processes and progress. Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors, most of whom are practising craftspeople. They will use variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, instruction, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please do not buy anything especially for the course before the first session. Standard drawing kit, paper, pencils, ruler etc. Box file/shoe box for work and materials. Covered shoes and either a coverall or apron should be worn. Materials costs are as required by each student and payable directly to the tutor.
What can I do next?
Further stained glass courses.
What do I need to join the course
This course is a continuation course for those who have attended the 20 week course with Brenda, or for those with some experience of the craft. It is not suitable for beginners.
